Job description: Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of Tobacco Manufacturing Company. Our client is seeking a Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) to support our manufacturing operations. This position will be based in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on mechanical / electrical systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical / electrical faults in production equipment.
- Install and set up new machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical/electrical technician role, preferably in tobacco manufacturing.
- Proficient in English (Verbal) is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
