Come be a part of this journey!BAT INDONESIA IS LOOKING FOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IIFUNCTION : Technical Shared ServicesSUB FUNCTION : Regional Analytical LaboratoryCITY & COUNTRY : Malang, East Java, IndonesiaROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESThe role is responsible to carrying out effectively and efficiently supervision, coordination, scheduling product testing activities (smoke, chemical, physical-visual) with acceptable accuracy and OTIF delivery through ensure resources availability and alignment with quality management system requirement for ISO 17025, EHS and LIMS implementation.Reports to: Product Analysis ManagerGeographic Scope: LocalWHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Lead the relevant team to proceed testing as quality and timeline requirement.
- Control the testing process compliance
- Arrange priority testing process with acceptable quality, precision and accuracy
- Close working with relevant OEM technician and authorized agent.
- Supervise the relevant laboratory to deliver reporting on acceptable accuracy and OTIF.
- Ensure the control of quality of testing process as required.
- Monitor execution of calibration, maintenance, renewal services contract and arrange services requisition process.
- Ensure the lab testing process and activities are fully complied with ISO 17025 either GAT requirement.
- Ensure proficiency testing and cross check of samples and process on acceptable validity and accuracy.
- Performs on-going internal audits of the QMS system in compliance with ISO17025:2017 standards
- Conduct the depth analysis root cause to define appropriate corrective-preventive action as required.
- Support Lab Managers to control operational budgets and availability required of consumable and part.
- Work on special projects with regards to organization’s orientations (reports, statistics, research, etc.).
- Carry out EHS activities according to BAT policies and procedures to create safe and clean working environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food, Statistics, or Mechanical Engineering. Having experience to work in analytical testing laboratory and LIMS System is preferable
- Willing to work in team, demonstrated self-motivated, personal leadership
- Interpersonal collaboration skills & Effective communication skills
- Capacity to easily adapt to changes, priorities, and timelines
- Ability to work with data and information (Data Analyst)
- Have solid knowledge of Analytical lab system and implementation.
- Have knowledge of Quality Management systems (ISO 17025) with effective implementation.
- Basic problem-solving skills and familiarity with structured problem tools useful but not mandatory
- Fluent in English (Reading, writing, speaking)
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical data to support recommendations
- Ability and commitment to drive change in the organization
- Intermediate Microsoft 365 skills, i.e. Power BI, Power Apps, etc.
- Maximum 30 years old
