As the largest surf, skate, and streetwear retail brand in Indonesia, they provide everyone’s fashion needs by offering the latest and best brands and products, sourced locally as well as internationally.Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines to support analytics and machine learning, leveraging existing data analyst resources.
- Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and concepts.
- Design and maintain a robust data infrastructure focusing on scalability, reliability, and security, incorporating Docker for efficient deployment and management.
- Engage with data analysts, business analysts, and IT teams to meet data requirements and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, and IT teams to understand and meet data requirements, implementing effective data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by enforcing data security, privacy, and governance practices, optimising data retrieval through dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
- Oversee the management and enhancement of data warehouse architectures, data lakes, and data marts, exploring new methods for data acquisition.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve the data ecosystem.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven background in Data Engineering or Data Warehouse Developer or similar roles.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a Data Engineer role or a similar position, demonstrating a track record of managing large-scale data infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical skills for managing large datasets with precision.
- Proficient in Python, Java, and R (knowledge in Goland and Rust is a plus)
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, BigQuery, etc.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Cassandra)
- Experience with data pipeline tools like Airflow.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data-related services.
- Understanding of machine learning principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a drive to tackle complex issues.
- Proven experience with Docker for deploying and managing containerized applications, including Dockerfiles and image management, and orchestration with Docker Compose or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Docker’s networking and persistent storage configurations for container data durability and accessibility.
