Job description: Position Overview: The Business Intelligence Senior is a key role within the financial technology sector, responsible for leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making. This role involves leading BI projects, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights that enhance business operations, customer experience, and profitability.Key Responsibilities: * Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Business Strategy Support:
  • Work closely with senior management to identify business needs and develop BI strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for improving business processes and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Project Leadership:
  • Lead and manage BI projects from inception to completion, including data modeling, ETL processes, and report development.
  • Coordinate with IT, data engineering, and other departments to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various teams, including product, marketing, finance, and customer service, to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Advanced Analytics:
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis, to uncover trends and insights.
  • Implement machine learning models to enhance predictive capabilities and automate business processes.
  • Data Governance:
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by adhering to industry best practices and company policies.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards and practices across the organization.
  • Mentorship & Training:
  • Mentor junior BI analysts and provide training on BI tools and best practices.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and trends.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve BI processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements: * Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in the financial technology sector or similar industries.
  • Experience in leading BI projects and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis.
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning models, and statistical analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Understanding of financial services and fintech industry trends, regulations, and challenges.
  • Familiarity with customer behavior analytics and financial products.
