Job description: Vacancy IntroPT Haskoning Indonesia (part of Royal HaskoningDHV) delivers consultancy services for various engineering disciplines through our business lines Water & Maritime and Industry & Buildings. With the growing order portfolio of climate adaptation, coastal engineering, and flood resilience services, the Business Line Water & Maritime is recruiting for a Senior Coastal Engineer.What will you do
- Provide top level modelling services, coastal adaption, land reclamation, and coastal engineering service.
- Show thought leadership in his/her field of expertise.
- Show specific coastal modelling skills (not limited to wave, flow, sediment transport, flushing study).
- Set up and monitor the quality, planning, and budget of the project components under his/her responsibility.
- Contribute to business development by providing coastal related advice in technical and commercial proposals, marketing materials, and capability statements. Actively participate in the communication with existing and potential clients.
Where you will workJakarta OfficeWhat you bring
- Have a bachelor / master’s degree in coastal engineering and/or oceanography, or related field.
- Working experience at least 8 years in relevant field. Possess an experience in land reclamation projects will be preferable.
- Familiar with DHI MIKE, Delft3D, GIS Software (preferably proficient in MATLAB and python).
- Having experience in hydrographic and coastal-environment survey is preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Indonesian (oral and written).
- Team player; able to work and maintain good working relationship with project team.
- Adaptable and flexible across various projects and clients, including site visit activity (short term mission, not limited to remote areas).
- Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary.
- Have a good Project Management skill
